First time using this restaurant, Went to place an order for 2 people for dinner and delivery and they told me the minimum order for delivery was 200 dollars, That is misleading as it states there is a 1 dollar delivery charge for deliver, Completely false advertising as it shows nothing like that on the website, We wont be ordering from them ever.

Worst Chinese restaurant ever. I took out chicken with cake noodle. Hardly any chicken meat only bones and the cake noodle was hard as concrete block. Extremely salty and sauce had MSG when we told them no MSG in the sauce. I took back the cake noodle because I was charged $8.95 for it and it was inedible. The cocky manager with an attitude said "I am not responsible for what the cook makes" and he offered to remake it but told me "It will come out the same because the same cook is making it" I said I don't want another inedible dish and he told me he will give me a refund. He gave me back $7.28. I said I paid more than that, he argued with me some more and told me "Okay, I give you the full price". LOL isn't he supposed to give me back the full price in the first place?? I've taken out food many times before, but is it always substandard and the prices are overpriced. The restaurant is always empty. If a Chinese restaurant is empty during lunch and dinner hours, that is saying something. Less than mediocre food that is overpriced and cocky manager with an attitude. This restaurant will close soon. I guarantee it!!

Minute Chicken on Cake Noodle - can't go wrong! Char siu fried rice and Kau Yuk with Chinese Taro are also excellent. Parking in the shopping center can get a little bit tight, but the restaurant is nice and clean.

So me and my girlfriend just live down the road from this place so we decided to check out this place. We came here at dinner time so there were quite a few people in there. A few families and some other couples. We walked in and just sat ourselves. The service was alright. Just the average Chinese restaurant kind of service...no disrespect to the establishment at all though. Service is quick and to the point is all I'm saying.Anyway, we ordered the beef broccoli chow mein, kau yuk, and the honey walnut shrimp. The wait wasn't too bad I don't think. They came out maybe 10 or 15 minutes later with our food which looked absolutely delicious. And it was.My favorite part of the meal was the chow mein noodles. They were cooked just the way I like them. Not mushy at all. My girlfriend thought there could have been more broccoli but I thought it was just fine. The kau yuk and the shrimp were also tasty. Everything was very well seasoned and cooked. The rice was a little dry for my liking but I just added the juices from the kau yuk and it was great.Only downside I could think of is that this place can get kind of loud. The restaurant itself is not as big as it seemed from the outside so tables can fill up quickly when you have families at a time going in to eat, and especially around dinner time. Aaaaand....if you are not particularly fond of screaming kids, just be prepared. This place does have good food, and if you really want to try it, you MIGHT have to put up with how loud it can get. My girlfriend and I definitely plan to start coming here more often.

My husband and I have been to Auntie Pasto's in the same shopping complex, and have always meant to try this restaurant (and also the Thai place). We decided to get the Entertainment Book for this year, and there was a coupon in it for Kunia Chinese, so we decided it was time to try it. We walked into the restaurant about 7:00 and there were only one or two other parties at tables, so we were seated right away. The staff was friendly.I have an allergy to MSG, so I ask at any Chinese restaurant if they use it, or at least can they cook what I order without it, which is what I did at this place (my husband can eat anything, no food allergies). I was told that if I ordered any non-meat and some fish dishes, they could make it without MSG, but otherwise, the meats were already seasoned with MSG. Okay. So, in all fairness for purposes of this review, I know I was limited in what I could order--no problem.I ordered Deep Fried Tofu with mushroom sauce from their Specialties section, my husband ordered sweet and sour pork and we also got an order of veggie fried rice (to share). The fried rice came first. I don't know if the rice had been sitting for a long time, but it was a little too soft. There wasn't much flavor to it, even with us adding some soy sauce. The tofu and pork dishes came out a few minutes later. The tofu looked very good, arranged nicely on the plate with a few pieces of broccoli, and the mushroom sauce in a cup in the center. The fried tofu wasn't greasy at all, everything was prepared properly and tasted friesh. However, it was very bland. I know tofu itself needs seasoning or whatever to give it flavor, but the batter it was fried in didn't really have any flavor, nor did the mushroom sauce, oddly. Very bland (brown with enoki mushrooms in it). Also, I think they should've made it with firm tofu, but the tofu in this dish was made with medium or even soft, it was a little too soft for my preference. It didn't taste bad, not at all, it was just *blah*.I asked my husband how his pork dish tasted (I normally would've just asked for a bite, but since his had MSG, I couldn't). It looked good. He said it was okay, nothing spectacular. I told him mine was okay but kind of bland, he said his was the same way, which I thought was odd, since it was sweet and sour!I think we may or may not go back (partly because of my MSG allergy).Other than the food:The place was clean. The service was good and our food came out quickly after we ordered. The food was hot and tasted fresh. Our waitress was very nice and was understanding about my allergy (she told us she has some food allergies too).

I have been to many chinese restaurants and Kunia Chinese restaurant is the best that I've been so far. The food is great, the price is right, and the customer service is excellent.
